Run Against Your Mother Day

It looked like rain today, so the girls started singing a little ditty they learned yesterday. It goes like this:
"Rain, rain, go away. Run against your mother day."
Bounce around and repeat.

I thought every day was "run against your mother day".

This morning, as Dan was feeding the girls, I, from the comforts of my bed, heard Jane yell,
"Everyone!!! Stop the noise for a minute! I'm eating my Cheerios!"

Who doesn't need quiet Cheerio time?
